Just did taking notes , not a minute of anything else, very useful and cool content, just gives you an interesting perspective on some pertinent issues. Three big exams, they are easy though -- especially the last one. Rush is a classic, very nice and funny.

I thought the class was pretty easy. It's graded on three exams (two midterms and a final) and 4 writing assignments. I watched all the lectures on double speed right the day before the exams and got an A in the class (even though I forgot to do one of the writing assignments). Really funny guy; his humor really adds to the class. Saw him a couple times around campus and had a laugh with him.

The class was very easy and manageable. There were 4 assignments, 2 exams, and a final. His exams are easy and he lets you use a notecard.

This was one of the most unexpectedly useful classes Ive ever taken. You spend most of the semester working on a research project in small groups. Our project was on genomics of invasive ants, but I hear that the project changes each semester so you'd probably get something different. The learning curve for the project was steep but I ended up learning so much so it was definitely worth it! The professors are currently working on publishing the results of our project and all of the students get to be authors on the paper, so soon I will have my first publication to put on my resume. We also had a project where we had to interview an international researcher, which was one of my favorite parts of the class.
